2d section drawings of the model

For the above ground studio, I choose the word flow, while representing it with a DNA structure. In every song, the melody and rhythm must flow in order to achieve a good music. The spiral is the nucleotide strand that brings the genetic material. In this model, the spiral will become the main support of the building itself. The spheres become the space of the studio.

The word for below ground studio is titanium, which represented by boxes. Titanium is known as one of the hardest materials to create huge objects such as airplanes, building constructions and others. Therefore, titanium is a 'solid'. Other ways to represent solid is through these boxes. The overlapping edges of the box act as partitions between each room. In connection towards Heston Blumenthal, he is well-known with his complicated dish, that requires time, energy and science. Therefore, he has to have separated workspaces, similar to what the partitions doing in the models. The lower level of the studio becomes the main kitchen, while the upper level is Heston's own laboratory.
